Today we drove to Hverageroi and hiked up Reykjad ("steam valley"), about 45 km southwest of Reykjavik.
The 3km uphill climb passed many steaming geigers and at the top we enjoyed swimming in the river which was almost unbearably hot! Kept us warm for the windy, wet hike down though!
Kari wins the good sport of the day award for laughing off a muddy riverside wipeout!
